Meet Dr. Jorge Parajon and Family
Dr. Jorge Parajon is a Board Certified Orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Parajon completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2001, where he graduated at the top of his class (cum laude). He completed his specialty orthodontic training at Marquette University School of Graduate Orthodontics in 2003. Dr. Parajon was trained in multiple techniques during his orthodontic residency from top specialists in their field. He earned a Master of Science degree for original research in the field of “friction mechanics.” Dr. Parajon’s personal treatment philosophy is to maximize the esthetic benefits of a well-balanced facial profile through technology driven techniques for the achievement of a gorgeous smile!
Dr. Parajon is proficient in both English and Spanish. Away from the office, he volunteers with charitable organizations such as Mission Smiles, a dental outreach and ministry, and sponsors many schools and extracurricular sports activities. His passion is to help the community and the people who put their trust in him. Dr Parajon also hosts and teaches the Traviss Technical College’s annual orthodontic training module for the Dental Assisting curriculum. He also mentors middle school, high school and college students by hosting them in his beautiful new office. He invites students interested in the profession of Orthodontics to shadow and volunteer for community service. Dr. Parajon resides in North Lakeland with his wife Amanda, son Jorge Christian and daughter Ava Myriam. He enjoys mountain biking, camping, traveling, shooting sports, and family beach trips with his family.
